We hold several events for the broader academic community and churches each year. Details of upcoming events can be found on this page. The centrepiece is our annual Research Conference.
Oxford Study Day with Greystone Institute
Union Research is excited to be partnering with Greystone Institute to offer a study day in Oxford on 11 March. The days theme is ‘The Christ of Reformed Catholicity’ and will be led by Dr Mark Garcia, President of the Greystone Institute. It will explore the issue of how, in a post-Christian, anti-intellectual world, the church can effectively proclaim the uniqueness of Christ.
The day will include lectures, seminars and discussion time.

St Aldates Parish Church Centre, 40 Pembroke Street, Oxford, OX1 1BP
Cost £32.50 – includes all study materials and lunch.

Union Research Conference
Each year, we hold the Union Research Conference for all our research students, supervisors, associated faculty and others who wish to join us. Recognised scholars from Union and other international institutions give papers related to their interests, whilst our research students are invited to give papers to help define, develop and circulate their own studies. The conference provides ample opportunity for constructive discussion and dialogue between students and world leading experts, whilst always seeking the ongoing reformation of the church.
The conference takes place at our UST South Wales campus and is arranged through our partnership with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Free University of Amsterdam). Papers cover a range of biblical, theological and historical issues.
The conference is held in January each year, and the details for our 2020 conference will be announced nearer the time.
